The Survey Study Bodily Harms of College Students


Abstract
This study states that the purpose of the study is to survey and to analyze bodily harms of 82 college boy students, making use of the physical education class of "K" college and extra sports activities from Sep. 1 to Dec. 31 in 1987 with an individual interview and question paper. During the periods 118 bodily harms happened and the result of this study is as follow: .
1) The monthly data of the injured students is like this; April 23.2%, May 22.0%, and March 18.3%. 2) The number of cases handled according to each event is like this; baseball 25.6% soccer 23.2% and
basketball 18.4% It means that they are interested in a ball game in the physical education.
3) The reason of bodily harms happened is like this; distracted attention 25.6%, unskillfulness 20.7% and
lack of warming up 15. 9%.
4) Sprain is the highest as 50.0% in the class of injury and in the part of bodily harm, hands 12.5% and joint 10.9%.
5) Most of the 31.7% slightly and serious injuried students took medical treatment for themselves and it was dressed within two weeks 36.6%.
